Create Discounts

This guide will walk you through the necessary steps to create discounts in IT SOLVER Point of sale Back Office application, streamlining the process of applying special offers to your items.

Navigate to the items section.

Click 'Items'

3. Click "Discounts"

Access the discounts tab.

Click 'Discounts'

4. Click "Create Discount"

Begin creating a new discount.

Click 'Create Discount'

5. Introduction

Follow the steps below to set up discounts effortlessly.

Introduction

  1. Name (Required)

    • Enter the name of the discount (e.g., Winter Sale 20% Off).

  2. Code

    • Enter a custom coupon code that customers can use to avail the discount online (e.g., WINTER20).

  3. Locations (Required)

    • Select the store location(s) where this discount will be active.

  4. Valid From

    • Choose the start date when the discount becomes active.

  5. Expires On

    • Choose the end date when the discount will expire.

  6. Days

    • Select specific days (Monday–Sunday) when the discount should apply. Leave blank for all days.

  7. Is TOTP Required

    • Enable this to restrict the discount's use to those with a one-time password (OTP) from the ITS Merchant App.

  8. Is Online Store

    • Activate this to make the discount available on the ITS Online Store.

  9. Is POS Billing

    • Allows the discount to be applied at the ITS Point of Sale (POS). (Enabled by default)

  10. Apply Automatically

    • If checked, the discount is automatically applied when the buy criteria are met.

  11. Customer Eligibility

    • Define specific customer groups eligible for the discount.

  12. Buy Criteria (Required)

    • Set conditions to qualify for the discount. Options include:

      • Order Level: Total order value.

      • Item Level: Specific items purchased.

      • Category Level: Items in selected categories.

  13. Get Criteria (Required)

    • Define the benefit of the discount. Options include:

      • Item Level: Discount on specific items.

      • Subtotal Level: Discount on the order subtotal.

  14. Save

    • Click to save and activate the discount.
